The Designers

We love all aspects of this industry including master coloring, foil weaves, full body waxing, massage, the newest styles and cuts, and of course the adoring classics like the shampoo and set.

We generally attend at least 12 hours of continuing education each year to keep up with the newest trends in cutting, coloring and styling.

(Only 8 hours every two years are required by the Board of Cosmetology)

We love our work and our clients , and have great gratitude for the 28 years of success in the community!

I've lived in Altoona, IA and worked at Cut Loose for 33 years. I grew up in Ottosen, near West Bend.

I've enjoyed growing with the industry. I've seen a lot of changes over the years. I enjoy my work and have learned many different hair styles, cuts, and colors...

Haircutting is probably my favorite though! There's just something special about giving a little one their first haircut. Then, 1st day of school, then prom, graduation, and marriage, then giving THEIR little one a 1st haircut!

On the personal side... I'm G'ma Kathy to my family & friends! I like to bake and paint, and I'm getting back into sewing. In the Summer, I just enjoy being outside.
